[Tips] วิธีหาเงิน เอาไปลองกันเองนะ
1) ok, you'll need to get some cactus stems (a few people use tree cuttings, but stems are way better.). they're in the "other" section at the AH. make sure not to get the cheap ones - good stems cost about 15k each - or your results won't be as good (like, you may spend your whole 60k on 4 stems and get rock salt, which would totally suck.).
2) head out and buy 10 earth pots. these are sold at the catalyst shop in windy and if you have good fame they'll cost 900g each. with lousy fame they're 1040g. you can get them at the AH instead, but usually they're 1500-1900 there. put the plants in your mog safe and then use the "layout" command to arrange the pots in your mog, and you're ready to begin.
now, this is the tricky part... when the phase of the moon is waning crescent you should wait until darksday and plant your stems on that day (you can check the day and moon phase by using the /clock command). in a bit more than a real life week, your moogle will tell you that the plants aren't doing well. when that happens, give them a LIGHTNING crystal on the next darksday (i'm giving you the lightning recipe because it sells really well on my server, and i'm just nice like that. ^^).
you'll get another message that your plants are feeling poorly about a week later. this time you should feed each of them a WIND crystal on darksday. btw, it'll help if you put a nobles bed and 4 or 5 tea sets in your mog, because all that extra lightning energy will help your plants grow ore. but even though most of the serious gardeners put this stuff in their mogs, stacking the deck in your favor this way is expensive, so that part's optional. :)
anyway, about a week after you feed them the 2nd time you'll get a message that your plants are blooming. when that happens, it means they'll be ready to pick in about 2 days. you'll know when they're ready because your moogle will tell you, the plants will glow, and you'll see a new "harvest" option when you check the plants. wait until the moon is waning crescent (at 40% or so), and when darksday comes, pick all the ore from your plants. just remember IT'S VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU PICK THEM ON DARKSDAY!
3) once a week should be good - maybe twice if you're feeling anxious. no need to go all crazy and check every day, though. doing that will overwhelm your plants, and that's one of the biggest reasons why people harvest worms sometimes.
4) Create mule characters so that you can grow 40, 80, maybe even 160 plants at once. We know that getting ores is subject to some randomness by SE, so this way even if you don't get ores from the first 15 characters you harvest - you may get 100 ores from the last one. There was a poster who said he got 10 ores from one pot, so you may want to ask him if he has any expert information himself. I think I'm getting close to harvesting 10 per pot, but since I haven't yet so I should let him explain.
5) Get one Arcane Flowerpot per character. This will help a bunch, because it slows down growth. With all these pots, who wants to examine every pot once a week? Now you can put off examining a lot longer.
6) Get as many flower stands as you can. What kind of gardener doesn't have a mog house full of flower stands? That'll give you tons of Lightning element too! Also, you may want to do the Bastok Mission "Where the Two Paths Converge" to get the most Lightning energy (you get the Bastok Flag to hang in your moghouse as a reward - some gil too). After you do that, move all your characters to Bastok so you can take advantage of having Bastok Conquest.
7) When examining your plants, watch what the Moogle tells you. What you harvest will depend on what the Moogle says. There's 2 main phrases for each growth cycle, but you have to keep trying until you get the rare 3rd comment. This is why you really don't want to check your plants more than once a week.
You should really thank Diva as soon as you can. Without someone posting the closely guarded secrets to growing ores on a public message board, I woudn't have had the courage to post any of my information. Man, cat's really out of the bag now.
