Hello. I have a question to ask Square-Enix about the new online game called
"Emil Chronicle Online" (ECO) developed by Headlock. Was this game developed in
any part at all by Square-Enix? There have been many many discussions on this
matter in Thailand. Some said that the Headlock company who developed ECO is a
subsidiary of Square-Enix and Square-Enix oversaw the production of ECO. Could
you please answer my question and give any information related to this matter?
This seem not an important question but it does matter to many fans of
Square-Enix game in Thailand (and I think around the world also). The website of
ECO in Thailand is http://www.onenet.co.th ; it is the website of the company
that obtained the license of ECO and they put the Square-Enix logo on their
website (you might not be able to read the website because it is in Thai
language but you can see the Square-Enix logo). I am not sure if this is
appropriate and I believe they did it for advertising. I hope I will get some
replies :)
